As the platform scaled, managing users, bookings, and disputes became increasingly complex for internal teams. Problem
As the number of users grew, the admin team struggled with fragmented workflows and limited oversight:
Managing and verifying user accounts was time-consuming and disorganized
No single place to handle disputes, suspensions, or profile updates
Limited visibility into bookings, cancellations, and escalations
Difficulty monitoring service quality across the platform
This resulted in:
Slower response times to issues
Reduced operational efficiency
Increased risk of unresolved disputes and poor user experience
Solution
As the UI/UX Designer, I focused on building a centralized, action-oriented admin system that simplifies complex workflows.
Key Design Decisions
1. Centralized User Management System
Designed a unified dashboard for managing all user accounts
Enabled admins to search, filter, and take actions (approve, suspend, edit) in one place
Introduced role-based permissions to ensure controlled and secure access
2. Activity Monitoring Panel
Built a real-time overview of platform activity
Displayed live booking statuses, service history, and user interactions
Added alerts for cancellations, disputes, and escalations
3. Improved Visibility & Control
Structured information in clear, scannable layouts
Prioritized critical actions and alerts to support faster decision-making
Reduced the need to switch between multiple tools or views
