PROBLEM
Sending money across borders should feel as seamless as sending a text but often, it doesn’t. Hidden fees, confusing exchange rates, and delayed settlements leave users anxious and distrustful. As designers, our job goes beyond building interfaces. We need to design trust into the experience: Clarity of Fees & Rates ,No surprises. Show exactly what leaves the sender’s pocket and what the receiver gets, in real time. Cross-border payments aren’t just about moving money they’re about moving trust, security, and peace of mind across borders.
SOLUTION
As the UI/UX Designer on Luuam, I focused on simplifying complex financial flows into clear, intuitive journeys. I redesigned the interface to highlight key actions (send, receive, track) while making costs and timelines transparent at every step. I introduced localized design patterns, reduced cognitive load with clean visual hierarchy, and ensured users could complete transactions confidently in just a few taps.
