This project focused on redesigning a healthcare web application used to manage interactions between doctors and patients. The goal was to improve the overall experience by reducing friction in appointment booking and ensuring patients complete required information before consultations. As the UI/UX Designer, I worked on simplifying the user journey and making the system more efficient for both patients and medical professionals.

Problem
The platform suffered from usability issues that affected both patients and doctors:
Patients faced long, confusing pre-appointment forms
Booking flows were unclear and required unnecessary steps
Incomplete or incorrect information delayed consultations
Doctors lacked consistent, structured patient data before appointments
This led to:
Increased patient wait times
Inefficient consultations
Frustration on both sides
Solution
I focused on reducing friction and improving clarity across the entire experience.
Key Design Decisions
1. Simplified Booking Flow
Reduced unnecessary steps in the appointment process
Created a clearer, more guided flow for users
2. Structured Pre-Appointment Forms
Redesigned forms to be shorter, clearer, and easier to complete
Introduced better input organization to reduce user errors
3. Improved Information Clarity
Ensured patients understood what was required before submission
Provided clearer instructions and feedback throughout the process
4. User-Centered Interface Design
Applied a clean layout and strong visual hierarchy
Reduced cognitive load for faster task completion

Outcome
The redesigned experience led to:
Improved form completion before appointments
Reduced friction in the booking process
Better preparedness for doctors before consultations
A smoother, more predictable experience for patients
